AssaultCube 1.0 is a first-person-shooter game based on the game Cube.
This excellent game formerly ActionCube, sets in a realistic looking environment with different scenarios.

You can choose arctic, desert, depot, gothic, snow, toxic, urban among many other scenarios. You can choose the level and the number of enemy players. Also its settings menu provide full control with the video settings, sound controls, gameplay settings, game controls, etc.
This game stays fast as the arcade game and offers good performance and graphic resolution. The purpose of the game is to stay alive and recollects items: guns, grenades, medical supply (to keep alive), ammunitions, to keep forward on the different stages of the game. This game is all about team oriented multiplayer fun.

Although this program can be slightly buggy from time to time, it is an extremely band-width conservative program. Considering it is freeware, and developed independently, this game scores high marks from me.
